There are two clear fulfilment routes. Products clearly marked as physically held by Britannic Trade in the UK ship within 1–2 business days. All other products are sourced to order from Japan, with an estimated total delivery time of 7–14 business days. Between 6 and 18 August 2026, Japan-sourced orders may take up to 2 weeks longer than usual due to seasonal supply schedules; items marked ‘In UK stock’ are unaffected.
Yes — UK delivery is free on orders over £50. For orders under £50, standard delivery is a flat £4.99. The exact charge is shown in your cart and at checkout.
Yes. Once your order ships we email you a tracking number and link — please allow 24–48 hours for the tracking to become active.
Our UK-stock products are already here and ready for us to dispatch. The rest of our catalogue gives you access to genuine JDM tackle sourced to order from Japan, which is why those products take 7–14 business days to reach a UK address. The applicable route is shown on each product page.
We currently ship to UK addresses only (excluding P.O. boxes and BFPO addresses). If you're outside the UK and interested in an item, email info@britannictrade.co.uk.

JDM stands for Japanese domestic market — gear made for anglers in Japan. It is prized for its build quality and its suitability for finesse techniques like LRF, eging and light lure fishing.
Often, yes. We have access to a wide Japanese catalogue. Email info@britannictrade.co.uk with the brand and model and we will do our best to source it.
You can return unused items in their original condition within 14 days of delivery. See our refund policy for full details.
Email info@britannictrade.co.uk with your order number and the item you would like to return, and we will guide you through the next steps.
We refund you to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving your returned item. Your bank or card provider may then need additional time to post the credit.
