Japanese domestic-market (JDM) tackle is engineered to an exceptional standard. It is the gear behind modern finesse techniques — light rock fishing (LRF), eging for squid, shore jigging and light lure fishing for bass and perch — where sensitivity, balance and reliability matter most.

Much of this equipment is hard to find on the UK high street. We source it so you don't have to import it yourself.

Every product we sell is genuine Japanese tackle. Products clearly marked as physically held by Britannic Trade in the UK ship within 1–2 business days. Everything else is sourced to order from Japan, with an estimated total delivery time of 7–14 business days to a UK address. This direct-sourcing model gives you access to JDM gear that is difficult to find on the UK high street, without arranging an import yourself.
