YAMANAMI

YAMANAMI is a Japanese lure maker whose range spans both saltwater and freshwater fishing, built around hand-finished hard baits that cover very different ends of the sport. At the larger end sit floating lures such as the TAIRA 190F — a 190mm, 68g floater in baitfish patterns like Sardine and Flying Fish — suited to offshore and shore casting for hard-fighting predators. At the compact end, small sinking lures like the A2 FLAT 45S (45mm, around 4g) in finesse colours such as Chartreuse Yamame are aimed at trout and freshwater stream and area fishing.

UK anglers will find these useful for sea bass and surface casting on the coast, while the smaller sinking baits translate well to native trout, perch and light freshwater work. Britannic Trade imports genuine YAMANAMI tackle direct from Japan with UK delivery, and the range continues to grow.
